In this article, I’m going to feature Hsu from Myanmar, she lives in Japan.
She has lived in Japan for 2 years. She is very good at Japanese.

I participated in an event related to Burmese culture held in Tokyo with her and wanted to go to Myanmar with interest.

How did you learn Japanese?
Before I came to Japan, I was a tour guide to Japanese tourists who came to Myanmar. Bogyoke Aung San Market, Shwedagon Pagoda, Chauk-htat-gyi Buddha Temple etc.
Where are the recommended sightseeing spots in Myanmar?
Hsu : Bagan is my favorite place in Myanmar.
Me : Bagan is my favorite as well ! I visited there last year. it was beautiful.

How about your favorite tourist destination in Japan?
Hsu : Kamakura (鎌倉) was good. I have visited twice until now, because Mandalay (Mahamuni Great Buddha) in Myanmar resembles the Great Buddha in Kamakura.

Tell me about popular artists in Myanmar
Hsu : Sai Sai Kham Hlaing is Burmese singer. I love him. but Korean movies and music are popular in Myanmar. I recently watched Crash Landing On You. So I want to go to Switzerland haha.
What makes you feel inconvenient when you live in Japan?
Hsu : Compared to Burmese, Japanese care more about what others think. Very uncomfortable.
