[Malaysia] Kuala Lumpur’s oldest train station

KL Railway Station is a station in Kuala Lumpur that opened in 1910. It was used as a central station until KL Central opened. KL Central has a direct express train from KLIA. About 1 mile from KL Central to KL Railway Station.

I visited Malaysia for the first time in March 2019. About 1 hour from Changi Airport to KLIA by Jet Star and then I took the limited express from KLIA to the city center. The temperature on that day was over 35 degrees. I was tired, but I saw this breathtaking station from the taxi window, I could not stop sightseeing at all.

Many buildings from the British era remain around the KL Railway station. Beautiful Islamic architecture colors the city. The Islamic Arts Museum and the National Mosque are within walking distance of this station.

Restaurant on the first floor of KL Railway Station.

I had Nasi Goreng and Kopi coffee at this restaurant. “Kopi” is Indonesian for coffee. Nasi Goreng is a cooked rice dish from Indonesia and Malaysia.
