兼高 かおる (Kanetaka Kaoru) She is a Japanese journalist (tourist writer)
She traveled to over 150 countries, She starred in the TV show “Kaneka Kaoru’s Journey in the World” from 1959 to 1990. Her father is Indian.
She is also one of the first women to reach the South Pole for the first time.
She remained single until her death in 2019.
